This new take on bridalwear revolutionised the sector and our own and franchised Rosa Clará shops soon sprang up throughout the rest of Spain and then the rest of the world. The company reinforced its position and influence on the sector when, among other initiatives, it partnered with haut couture designers of the stature of Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld and Zuhair Murad, signing exclusive contracts to make and sell their bridalwear collections worldwide.
This decision, along with Rosa Clará’s powerful brand image — reinforced by its role in opening Barcelona Bridal Week, one of the world’s most prestigious bridalwear shows — and growing celebrity demand for its wedding gowns, boosted the group’s brands and market position worldwide and paved the way for sales on all five continents through our own shops, franchises and multi-brand outlets.
Once well established in the bridalwear sector, Rosa Clará’s next challenge was to provide brides and their guests with even more service. In response, in 2007 we created the Rosa Clará Cocktail collection which, along with our existing accessories ranges, met that demand.
Today, Rosa Clará has three centres in Spain — the group’s new corporate head office on Calle Quatre Camins in Barcelona, the former head office and current logistics and production centre in Hospitalet de Llobregat and the 5,000-m2 multi-purpose facility in Sant Just Desvern that acts as both product development and innovation centre and showroom for the new collections unveiled to representatives of the over 3,500 outlets in 86 countries who visit us each year.
This infrastructure is complemented by the North American subsidiary’s head office in New Jersey which, together with Mexico (opened last year) and Brazil, are the company’s three subsidiaries with logistics and operations capabilities.
You will find the company’s wedding dresses in selected stores in Greece and Cyprus. General representative for Greece, Cyprus and Balkans is Stefania Makridaki.
